The Australian cricket team toured England in the 2001 season to play a five-match Test series against England for The Ashes, the three way one day international NatWest Series against England and Pakistan, and nine tour matches.
Australia won the 2001 Ashes series 4-1 with one match drawn therefore retained The Ashes which they had held since the 1989 Ashes series.
